Thomas W. Taylor is a lifelong resident of Lenawee County. He established The Taylor Agency of Southern Michigan, Inc. in 1988. Tom has built his agency around dedication, experience and integrity. His service in the industry for over 25 years brings with it several awards and accomplishments. He is a member in good standing of MDRT, The Million Dollar Round Table (based on sales); a past member of the Board of Directors for the Michigan Fraternal Insurance Counselors; Past President of NAIFA-Lenawee (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) and currently serves as board member. Tom has received many awards, among them are: National Quality Awards, Quality Service, National Sales Achievement awards, Agency Building Awards, Persistency Awards, and The Century Club. Among his various educational courses, Tom has completed the intensive "Mission for LIFESM" program designed to define the needs of individuals and families and provide a complete and unique solution.
Tom and his wife, Dawn, currently reside in Adrian with their two daughters - Erica & Kathryn. He is dedicated to his family and community. He is an active council member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Adrian, has coached several community sports teams and supported numerous community events and organizations.
Eric D. Wiedyk is a graduate of Sand Creek High School and received his Bachelor's degree in business from Siena Heights University in 1996. Eric and his wife, Sherrie, reside in Adrian with their children, Hunter, Drew and Faith. He joined the staff at The Taylor Agency in 1997. He is a member in good standing with The Million Dollar Round Table (based on sales), the Fraternal Insurance Counselors and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors-Lenawee (NAIFA-Lenawee), serving as a past member of the Board of Directors for the association. He is very active in the lives of his children as he serves as the Chariman of the Board of Education at St. Stephen Lutheran School and coaches various sports teams in the community.
Eric is licensed to sell stocks, bonds, mutual funds, variable annuities, life insurance and annuities. Eric has received several awards for quality service and production.
Shelly grew up in Lenawee County and now lives in Hudson with her husband, Joe. She began her career in the insurance industry in 1992 in Texas and after returning to Michigan in February of 2006, she joined The Taylor Agency. Shelly is licensed to sell life insurance, Long Term Care Insurance and annuities. In 2007, she became office manager of the agency. She works closely with and offers assistance to all of our staff as well as servicing the needs of our clients. She is a member of ( NAIFA-Lenawee) National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and has served in the past as President for the local chapter as well as serving as chair of Professional Development for NAIFA-Michigan. Shelly has completed the intensive "Mission for LIFESM" program and is a 2011 graduate of the Leadership in Life Institute.
Outside of the office, Shelly is active in St. Stephen Lutheran Church. She and her husband, Joe, enjoy spending time in northern Michigan and riding their motorcycles through the countryside. They also make the trip to Texas on any given opportunity to visit their children and grandchildren.
Tanya (Tanny) McCullough is a life-long resident of Lenawee County. She is a graduate of Onsted High School and in 1996 earned her bachelor's degree from Siena Heights University in Accounting. She and her husband, Mark, live in Adrian with their four children - Abbie, Lexi, Dillon and Derrick. Tanny joined us in June of 2005 doing the accounting and reporting for the agency; enabling us to offer the additional tax preparation service - providing a more complete, comprehensive agency for our clients. She came to us with her strong educational background earning awards for outstanding achievement and years of tax experience. She is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals and continually updates on the changes in the tax law.
Outside the office, Tanny is a member of the Adult Handbell Choir at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, serves as a project leader in 4-H and busies herself with the various school, sporting and 4-H activities of her children. When time permits, the family especially enjoys camping locally at Killarney Lutheran Camp.
Steve Case is a graduate of Sand Creek High School and a life-long resident of Lenawee County. He and his wife, Angie, currently reside in Sand Creek. They have two grown children, Derek and Hannah, and one beautiful granddaughter, Josie. Steve joined the staff at The Taylor Agency in the summer of 2010. He primarily serves as Eric Wiedyk's assistant and is an integral part of servicing the needs of 401(k) participants under One Source / First Mercantile.
Outside the office, Steve is an active member of Jasper Bible Church and enjoys spending time with his family.
Matthew G. Eichorn is a 2006 graduate of Adrian College earning his Bachelor's degree in business. He and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Adrian with their children, Kasey, Edynn, and Annie. He is very active in the lives of his children and coaches various sports teams in the community. Matt joined the staff at The Taylor Agency in 2012 and is licensed to sell life insurance and annuities. He is a member in good standing with Lenawee BNI, the Madison Gleaner Arbor, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors-Lenawee (NAIFA-Lenawee) – serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the association.
Earning several awards for quality and service production, he is dedicated to exemplary customer service and is continually acquiring new knowledge and information that will help him to make the best recommendations possible for his clients.
